About the Project

In March of 2016, I started this project in order to thoroughly educate myself about the issues, where the candidates stood on them, and potentially educate some others in relation to the 2016 presidential election.  I wanted to move past the rhetoric and the sound bites and just get to what the candidates truly believed and find out what their policy proposals were.

So, I read everything in every free moment and ultimately covered 32 issues over the course of 32 weeks wracking up over 30,000 page views.

In an effort to continue my quest towards a more informed, united, just, peaceful, secure, prosperous, and free society for all, I covered the Minnesota governor's race in preparation for the August 14th primary.

Today, I feel that I find more and more that people are saying that they don’t care about the character of their candidate as long as they agree on policy.  But, they still can’t speak much to that policy. I still want to change that.

So, I continue with my quest for a more educated electorate for the 2020 election. I hope that those of you who follow this find that you are better able to speak to how your vote affects your daily lives and are able to feel confident in your choice on election day.
